Below is a snippet from our enlightening interview with Lena Thompson, where she shares her journey and the wisdom she has gained along the way.
Q. Would you say that energy management is a more important topic to focus on these days due to additional pressure?
Our energy is our most valuable currency because life responds to our energy, not our efforts. The more energy we cultivate, the more success we generate. It’s the fuel for our goals. When we think about productivity and accomplishing tasks, we often focus on time and effort. However, both are finite resources that deplete us. Energy, on the other hand, can become an infinite supply when we know how to access and optimise it correctly.
Q. Do you think that we can realistically generate more energy to meet demand? What are suggestions to help individuals achieve this?
We can absolutely generate more energy, but it involves more than just caring for our physical bodies with proper nutrition, sleep, and exercise. It also requires balancing our emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being as we exist on all four dimensions and harmonising them is essential for true success. Balancing these four aspects of ourselves begins with self-awareness and understanding how we are wired to operate at our best. One of the best tools for this is Human Design, which aligns us with our true nature and shows us how to function at our optimal capacity.
Q. In your experience across your career, how have people achieved more while working less?
Over the years, I have worked with and been mentored by successful entrepreneurs who have not only generated wealth and success but also managed to run 11+ businesses while enjoying more free time than the average person with just one job. By prioritising my energy, I have transformed my life from having one full-time job with barely any free time to managing two businesses and a full-time job while still making at least five hours for myself each day. When we physically slow down, we speed up energetically. We become more focused, engaged, and clear on the actions needed to move us toward our goals.
